Eduard Bf 110G masks 1:48 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the German Bf 110G heavy fighter. It gives crisp color edges on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110G heavy fighter. It is neither a kit nor a standalone model but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color edges on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without the slow job of cutting tape by hand.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 is a German twin-engine heavy fighter (Zerstörer) of the Second World War with inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engines and a long segmented greenhouse canopy for the crew. In the second half of the war the G version made its name above all as a radar-equipped night fighter with heavy armament against Allied bombers. Its extensive canopy glazing makes masking one of the demanding parts of painting it.
Degrease the long greenhouse canopy glazing thoroughly. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them patiently on the individual panels of the frames, working systematically window by window. Fine-tune the corners and transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the color with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, the paints, the glue and the decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
