The Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C/D painting mask 1:48 from Eduard, a self-adhesive mask for spraying the cockpit glazing and the wheels of models of the British carrier attack aircraft cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for 1:48 models of the British Blackburn Buccaneer carrier attack aircraft in the S.2C and S.2D versions. The masks are cut from quality masking film (the kabuki type) and cover the cockpit glazing and the landing gear wheels. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that ensures sharp glazing frames without laborious cutting of tape.
The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British twin-engine carrier attack aircraft of the Cold War, designed for fast flight at low altitude over the sea. It was marked by a rugged structure and the ability to carry heavy armament. The S.2C and S.2D versions were modernized configurations for the Fleet Air Arm with improved avionics and armament. The machines served from the decks of aircraft carriers and from land bases.
Degrease the glazing and apply the masks exactly along the engraved frames. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not run under the edge. Take the masks off while the paint has only flashed off, with a clean pull of the tweezers. The wheel masks allow a sharp transition between the hub and the tire.
It is a masking accessory, not a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
