1:48 Breda Ba.65 canopy airbrush mask is a set of spraying masks from MH models for the cockpit glazing of a model of the Italian Breda Ba.65 attack aircraft. It is an accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masks cut to the frames of the cockpit canopy of a Breda Ba.65 model in 1:48 scale. Cutting strips of tape by hand for broken-up glazing is slow and the result tends to vary; a pre-cut mask holds the shape of the frame and after spraying a sharp boundary is left between the paint and the clear part. The package contains masks only, and the kit and paints are not part of it.
The Breda Ba.65 was an Italian single-engine attack aircraft from the second half of the 1930s with an all-metal structure and a radial engine. It served with the Regia Aeronautica and was committed in combat in Spain and later in North Africa, where it turned out that its performance was no longer enough for the ground attack role. The machine was built in single-seat and two-seat forms.
Wash the clear part in lukewarm water with detergent and let it dry naturally, so that no fingerprints are left on the surface. Transfer the mask with tweezers and press the edges down with a blunt tip. Spray the shade of the interior of the frames first and only then the external camouflage, because otherwise the frames will be the wrong tone from inside. Apply the paint in thin coats, because a heavy coat seeps under the edge. Remove the mask shortly after it has dried, best of all before the final varnish, and wipe any remains of the adhesive away with a soft cloth without solvent.
The package contains masks only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
