Montex 1:48 Bristol Blenheim Mk.I is a masking set for the outside and the inside of the glazing, with masks for national insignia. An accessory for a kit you already own.
Responsibility details are not available.
According to the name, the set holds masks for both sides of the glazing framing and masks for national insignia. It is not a model, but an accessory that is stuck straight onto the clear parts of a kit. The Blenheim has a glazed nose made up of many irregular panes and a pilot's cockpit with asymmetric framing, so pre-cut templates save long hours of work with a scalpel.
The Bristol Blenheim Mk.I was a British all-metal twin-engine bomber designed in the mid-1930s. In its day it was among the fast machines of its category, but with the arrival of modern fighters it became obsolete quickly and moved into second-line roles and secondary theaters. The low pilot's cockpit offset toward the left side of the nose is its unmistakable identifying feature.
The key to a clean result is the order of the coats. Once the masks are on, spray the edges with a thin coat of the interior color; it will fill any gaps. The primer and the camouflage follow. Then spray the insignia masks onto cured finish, working from the lightest shade to the darkest. Remove them by pulling at a sharp angle, and for any adhesive residue a cotton swab moistened with water will help.
The package holds masking templates only. The kit, paints and decals are not part of it.
