An aftermarket detail accessory from the manufacturer MASTER, not a kit. It contains a turned brass pitot tube and angle of attack (AoA) probes for a model of the French Dassault Étendard IVM/IVP carrier aircraft in 1:48 scale. The metal parts replace the fragile plastic sections of the original kit.
The pitot tube and the fine angle of attack probes are among the most fragile and at the same time most conspicuous elements on the nose. The brass version has a correctly thin profile, does not deform and looks realistic. The set is intended for the IVM and IVP versions of this Étendard.
Cut off the plastic parts, drill holes in the fuselage and glue the brass replacements in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Deburr and degrease the parts. Because of their small size, the work suits advanced modelers; brass takes a primer and paint well.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
