Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Print Scale. This is not a kit, but a specialized sheet that carries the period color and technical markings of the aerial bombs of the Luftwaffe of the years 1930 to 1940. The original foreign-language name of the set translates as the marking of aerial bombs, Luftwaffe 1930–1940.
In the time before the Second World War and at its beginning, aerial bombs were marked with colored bands and technical lettering that indicated the type and the purpose of the ordnance. These details are a rewarding addition to aircraft models, dioramas and stand-alone models of ordnance and they increase their credibility.
A decal is briefly dipped in lukewarm water, slid off the backing paper onto the surface of the bomb or of the model and its position is adjusted. On the cylindrical surface of a bomb a decal softening solution helps it settle without creases. A smooth gloss base is best, and once dry the surface is coated with a matte varnish.
These are separate waterslide decals. Models of the bombs and the paints are not included in the package.
