An accessory set for the British Daimler Dingo Mk II reconnaissance vehicle in 1:48 scale, intended according to the name for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Daimler Dingo is a small British reconnaissance armored car with all-wheel drive and a crew of two. British units used it from the beginning of the Second World War until its end, and scouts valued it for its low silhouette and agility. The Mk II is one of its production versions. Despite its small dimensions the Dingo is a rewarding machine on the modeling bench: a lot of visible detail comes together on a small area and in a diorama it goes well with larger vehicles.
An accessory set for a model of the Dingo Mk II in 1:48 scale, intended according to the name for the Tamiya kit. These are parts that are fitted into a finished kit, not a separate model. The make-up of the set, the placement of the parts and the recommended glue are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
First fit the parts dry and check how they line up with the kit plastic. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest with a fine abrasive. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let them dry; a degreased surface holds paint considerably better. On such a small vehicle it pays to paint separately everything that a brush will not reach once it is glued, and only then to tie the whole thing together with a thin coat of varnish and bring out the edges with a dry brush.
The set is for modelers who build British vehicles in 1:48 scale and want to take their Dingo further than the contents of the box allow. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
