Eduard 1:48 Do-217K-1: glazing masks

A set of precisely cut masking stencils in kabuki tape in 1:48 scale for a model of the German night and multi-purpose bomber Dornier Do 217K-1. The masks copy the framing of the glazed nose and the cockpit exactly, so you paint the window frames quickly, with sharp edges and without the tedious laying-up of strips of tape. Circular masks for the wheel rims, for a clean separation of the tire from the rim, are usually included as well.

Use

• First paint the glazing with the interior color, then with the exterior masking shade.
• Transfer the individual parts of the mask onto the frames with tweezers and press the edges down carefully.
• Spray over with the covering color of the fuselage; lift the masks off once it has dried.
• The circular wheel masks make it possible to separate the tire from the rim cleanly.

Who the set is for

• Modelers who want sharp cockpit frames without laborious masking by hand.
• Builders of German bombers with an interest in a clean result.

This is a masking accessory; the paints, the airbrush and the model itself are not included in the package.
