An add-on set of turned brass parts for models of the German Dornier Do 335 A fighter in 1:48 scale. The set contains MG 151 cannon barrels, a FuG 25a aerial and a pitot tube. The metal parts replace the soft and inaccurate plastic components from the kit and give the model crisp, realistic detail. MASTER is a Polish maker of turned accessories.
The Dornier Do 335 A Pfeil was a German fighter of the Second World War with an unusual tandem arrangement of two engines (a tractor in the nose and a pusher in the tail), which made it one of the fastest piston aircraft of its day. The set sharpens the armament and the aerial and instrument details of the airframe.
Cut off the matching plastic parts and clean up the openings. Glue the brass parts in with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and take care to align the barrels and the aerial correctly against the real subject. Metal is easy to clean up and to paint.
This is a metal accessory, not an aircraft kit. The model and glue are not included in the package.
