Quinta Studio 1:48 Do 335A-12 Trainer - three-dimensional interior decals is an accessory set of colored 3D decals for the cockpit of a model of the two-seat trainer version. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for an existing model in 1:48 scale.

The set belongs among the three-dimensional (3D) interior decals from the manufacturer Quinta Studio. On the decal paper there are cockpit panels shaped in relief and already printed in color, that is the instrument panel, the side consoles and the controls. It will replace the flat decals from the box as well as the lengthy hand painting of the individual dials. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for a model in 1:48 scale.
The Dornier Do 335 was a German fighter aircraft from the end of the Second World War with an unusual tandem layout of the powerplant: one engine with a tractor propeller in the nose and a second with a pusher propeller behind the cockpit. The A-12 version was a two-seat trainer conversion with a raised rear seat for the instructor, thanks to which it has markedly longer glazing than the single-seat versions and two separate sets of instruments. That is clearly visible on a finished model, so the interior is worth a careful job.
Three-dimensional decals behave differently than classic wet decals, so keep to the instructions enclosed in the package. Do not use a softener or a setting solution on them, they would attack the printed resin. Seat the panels on a smooth degreased surface and do it before the fuselage is glued together, while the cockpit is still readily accessible. Paint the surrounding areas beforehand and let the set dry properly before closing the glazing. On a two-seat cockpit it pays off to try both stations dry, so that the orientation of the panels fits.
