The masking set Dornier Do 335A-12 Pfeil 1:48 for the two-seat version of the machine. The ready-made shapes are stuck onto the clear part of the Tamiya kit, so cutting from masking tape is no longer needed.

This item is an accessory for a kit, not a model. It contains masking templates for the glazing of the two-seat version of the Dornier Do 335, designated A-12, from the Tamiya kit in 1:48 scale. It is the single-sided variant intended for the outer side of the glass; a double-sided version with additional masks for the inner side exists under a similar name.
The Do 335 had an unusual power arrangement: an engine in the nose and a second one at the back behind the cockpit, with a pusher propeller behind the tail. The A-12 version is the two-seat training conversion, on which a second, higher-set cockpit was added behind the original one. The glazing is therefore longer and more intricate than on the single-seat machine, and considerably more laborious to mask as well.
Wash the clear part in lukewarm water with detergent and let it dry out thoroughly. Lift the templates off one at a time with tweezers and, once they are in place, press them down with a soft toothpick, so that the edges settle without bubbles. With two separate cockpits, proceed systematically, so that no pane is left uncovered. Spray thin coats and remove the masks as soon as the paint has set.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not part of it.
