Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely die-cut self-adhesive masking set from Japanese paper tape (kabuki) for the plastic model of the American piston-engined Douglas A-1J attack aircraft in US Air Force service in 1:48 scale, from the Czech manufacturer New Ware. It is neither a model nor a paint but a set of masks for spraying the glazing and the details cleanly. The EXPERT level is the most complete one: besides masks for the outside of the canopy glazing it also covers the inside and the sealing frames, masks for the wheels, for the clear parts and elements for masking the camouflage.
The Douglas A-1 Skyraider was an American single-seat piston-engined attack aircraft that came about at the end of the Second World War and stayed in service unusually long. Thanks to its large load of bombs and rockets and its ability to loiter over the battlefield for a long time, it proved itself in support of ground forces, among others in the Vietnam War, where it was flown by the Air Force alongside the Navy. The A-1J version was one of the last production variants.
The masks are cut from a tape that adapts to curved surfaces and leaves no sticky marks when peeled off. Degrease and dry the surface before sticking them down, move the parts with tweezers and press them against the edges of the frames. Cover the remaining area with scraps of tape or with liquid mask. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and peel the masks off before the finish dries completely.
This is a self-adhesive masking set, not a model and not paint. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
