The mask set 1:48 Douglas A-4B Skyhawk from Eduard is meant for spraying the frames of the cabin of the light attack aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package holds a masking accessory for a model of the Skyhawk of the B version, not the model itself. The pre-cut outlines match the frames of the windscreen and the canopy of the cabin, so the spraying can be managed without cutting tape step by step.
The Skyhawk came about in Ed Heinemann's team as a deliberately small and light carrier attack machine with a delta wing that did not have to be folded. The A-4B version brought among other things equipment for refueling in flight and strengthened control of the rudder. The aircraft served with the navy and the marine corps, and thanks to its simplicity it saw a long career with foreign users too.
The classic American scheme with a light gray upper surface and a white lower part forgives nothing, because the transitions are visible from every angle. So spray the frames with a thin coat and let them dry properly, otherwise you will tear the edge away when removing them. It also proves itself to cover the canopy first with a light coat of the shade of the interior, so that the clear plastic does not show through anywhere once it is seated on the fuselage. Before you take the masks off, make sure the paint has not run anywhere; a correction is hard to hide on light paint.
