The set holds three resin 3D-printed drain grates (street drains) in 1:48 scale. This scenic accessory gives paving, a road or a courtyard a credible town detail and breaks up the uniform areas of a diorama.
Clean the parts of the release agent and separate them from the print supports. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); a grate can be set into the base so that it lies flush with the paving. You create the metallic look with a dark base, a dry brush and shades of rust. Apply a primer before painting, and sand with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; these are resin parts. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
