A universal set of 3D decals from Quinta Studio for rendering DZUS quick-release panel fasteners. The elements are printed on a pliable film, are three-dimensional and colored; they are applied to the outer surface of a model and give it the kind of fine, realistic detail that only an experienced modeler could create by hand. The set is not tied to a particular type and suits a wide range of aircraft models in 1:48 scale.
DZUS quick-release fasteners hold the removable panels and covers on real aircraft. On a model this is a prominent surface detail that is usually only suggested; ready-made 3D decals render it accurately and repeatably over the whole surface.
The individual rows of fasteners are cut from the sheet and placed onto the surface of the model; degreasing the surface, working with tweezers and a sharp knife and trimming the excess film are recommended. The details can be varnished over at the end and blended into the surrounding color.
It contains decals only; the model, paints and glue are not included.
