It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that refines the exterior elements beyond what injection-molded plastic offers. It is meant for E-2C models in this scale.
Sets marked exterior concentrate on the outer surface of the airframe — typically reinforcements, covers, plates, small antennas, boarding steps and similar fine elements. A model of this distinctive aircraft with its rotating radar disc thus gains a more faithful and three-dimensional surface.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and use a photo-etch bending tool for bending. Glue them with the smallest possible amount of cyanoacrylate. Degrease before painting so that the paint holds well.
The accessory comes unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
