The EA-18G is an American carrier-borne electronic warfare aircraft. It grows out of the two-seat version of the F/A-18 Super Hornet, with which it shares its airframe and a large part of its equipment, but its task is not air combat: it is to find, jam and silence hostile radars and thereby cover the other machines of the wing. From that follow both its crew of a pilot and an electronic warfare systems operator and the external pods it carries in place of part of the usual armament.
This is an accessory for a model in 1:48 scale. Accessory elements of this kind replace or refine the places a kit handles in a simplified way and give a model detail that cannot be achieved in plastic. The method of application does not follow from the designation of the set. The procedure differs between the individual ranges, so check it in the manufacturer's instructions in advance and go by them for the order of the steps as well. Wash and degrease the base before applying them, move the elements with smooth-jawed tweezers and press them home with a soft tool. Place the elements that belong inside the fuselage before you close it up, because afterwards you will not reach them.
The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
