1:48 EA-6B Prowler canopy mask (double sided) is a double-sided set of stencils for the cockpit frames of the carrier jammer in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The double-sided form means that the frames get paint on the inner side of the canopy as well. On a model that shows at once: looking into the cockpit, you do not see transparent plastic but a dark frame in the shade of the interior. It is precisely on a four-seat machine with a large area of glazing that the difference is most visible.
For decades the EA-6B was the only specialized electronic warfare aircraft that aircraft carriers could launch. It was derived from the Intruder attack aircraft, but the fuselage received a longer and taller cockpit, a stronger electrical system and a fundamentally different job. While its predecessor aimed at a bridge or a depot, the Prowler aimed at an antenna. In service it was gradually replaced by a twin-engine machine derived from the Super Hornet.
Fit the inner pieces before the cockpit is glued together, while the canopy is freely accessible. Spray them in the shade of the interior, let them dry thoroughly and only then start on the outside. When fitting the canopy to the fuselage, it pays to hold the part with a moistened wooden stick, so that fingerprints are not left inside where they can no longer be wiped away. During the outer spraying, hold the model cockpit upwards so that you can see the edge of the frame from above.
