A colored 3D interior decal in 1:48 scale from the maker Quinta Studio, in the reduced Small form. It is not a model — it is a set of three-dimensionally shaped colored decals for the cockpit. Compared with the full version it covers a smaller extent of the interior (above all the main panels and consoles). The set is intended for the EA-6B Prowler plastic kit from the Kinetic brand.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was an American carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft with a crew of four. It jammed enemy radars and air defense systems and protected strike packages. The ICAP II standard brought upgraded avionics and the ability to carry anti-radar missiles.
The elements are cut out, soaked briefly in lukewarm water and applied by the wet method onto the parts of the cockpit coated with a gloss clear. The decals are color-printed in advance, so painting and picking out the dials is unnecessary. Patient pressing with a damp brush makes it easier for them to settle into the recesses, and a decal softener or a decal fixer does not belong with these decals; at the end the interior is unified with a matte clear coat.
This is an interior accessory, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included — the set serves to detail the corresponding kit.
