A colored (pre-painted) photo-etched set of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale aimed at the safety seat belts and the fine details of the ejection seats of the EA-6B Prowler. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory (a detail set) that replaces the simplified plastic belts with faithful metal parts with stitching and buckles.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was a carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder attack aircraft. The four-member crew was made up of the pilot and three officers operating the jamming systems. It served for the suppression of enemy air defenses and for the jamming of radars. A cockpit with several seats offers room for rich belt detail.
The colored belts are pre-painted and there is no need to paint over them. Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and form them with tweezers. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with glue for photo-etch.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
