Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American Lockheed F-104 Starfighter. It is neither a kit nor a standalone model but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color edges on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without the slow job of cutting tape by hand.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is an American single-engine supersonic fighter and interceptor of the 1950s. Its hallmark is the exceptionally thin and short straight wings with sharp leading edges. It reached high speeds and rates of climb, and a number of European and other air arms operated it under license, among other things in the interceptor and strike roles.
Degrease the canopy glazing and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing, lay them on the frame of the windshield and of the hinged part of the canopy and press them into the edges. Spray the color with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, the paints, the glue and the decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
