1:48 F-104G/J EXPERT kabuki masks

F-104G/J EXPERT kabuki masks, 1:48 scale

A complete set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks in kabuki (washi) paper for models of the F-104 Starfighter fighter in the G and J versions in 1:48 scale. The EXPERT edition is the most extensive variant: alongside the canopy frames and the landing gear wheels it usually adds masks for the dielectric panels, service areas and other small details. It is not a kit but a masking accessory for a perfect paint job on the model.

Use

• Lift the individual masks off the sheet and place them on a clean, degreased surface of the model.
• Press them down for perfect adhesion; the pliable paper follows curves and edges.
• Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge of the mask.
• Place the small masks for the dielectric panels and details with tweezers.
• Peel the masks off gently once the paint is dry.

Who the set is for

For demanding modelers who want to capture even the small color areas and dielectric panels without cutting them out by hand. The scope of the EXPERT edition will be appreciated by experienced builders on a showpiece build.

A masking accessory. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
