F-14A weapons set 1:48 (Eduard) is an aftermarket armament set in resin and photo-etched parts for a Tomcat model. It is not an airplane model but an armament accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane model but an aftermarket armament set in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the American F-14A Tomcat carrier fighter. It brings together in one package several missile sets that are also sold separately (the Big Sin edition). The parts are resin complemented by photo-etched elements and its own decals for each missile type, so they offer markedly finer detail than injection-molded plastic.
The package covers the typical air-to-air armament of the Tomcat: the short-range Sidewinder, the medium-range Sparrow and the long-range Phoenix. The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing and a crew of two, famous precisely for the long-range missiles that defended carrier groups. It is a resin and photo-etched accessory kit for more experienced modelers.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and bend the photo-etched parts carefully according to the instructions. Apply a primer before painting, seat the missiles on the racks only after varnishing and finally apply the enclosed decals.
This is an armament accessory in resin and photo-etched parts, not an airplane model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
