Resin floating elevators for the F-16 Block 5-10 in 1:48 scale from the maker Quickboost. An accessory for the kit, not a model of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set that replaces the horizontal tail surfaces of the F-16 fighter of the early production Blocks 5 and 10 in 1:48 scale. The set holds faithfully cast stabilizers, which can be seated in a deflected, that is floating, position, as is usual on a parked aircraft. The parts sharpen up an area that injection-molded plastic usually simplifies.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter. The early Blocks 5 and 10 were among the first production patterns. The all-moving horizontal tail surfaces are usually set at rest on the ground in a neutral or slightly deflected position, which the accessory makes it possible to capture faithfully.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue first and cut off the casting blocks. Glue the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Separate the original plastic surfaces carefully and seat the new ones at a natural deflection angle; touch up the joins and blend them with their surroundings.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
