The F-16 is a single-engine multirole combat aircraft that from the mid-1970s became the most widespread Western fighter of its category. You recognize it by the bubble canopy with no frame at the front, the conical air intake under the fuselage and the seat reclined to the rear. The Block 40 and 42 versions were produced for night work and poor weather; they got equipment for working with targeting and navigation pods, strengthened landing gear and larger wheels, because of which they have bulged landing gear bay doors. Block 42 differs from Block 40 above all in the supplier of the powerplant; the rest of the fit is the same.
An accessory set for an F-16C model in 1:48 scale. The list of parts and the kit the set is built for are given in the manufacturer's instructions. You cannot build a stand-alone model from it; the set serves to finish a kit already in hand.
Try the parts dry first and only then glue them; accessories tend to be built for an exact position, and once the glue has set they cannot be moved. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts: ordinary cement for plastic models holds only on polystyrene, and with other materials use super glue. Cut excess material and traces from manufacture away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder off. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, or the paint will take badly.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
