A set of pre-painted photo-etched seat belts from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:48 scale, prepared for the seats of the two-seat F-16D in the Block 30, 40 and 50 versions. It is not a kit but a separate cockpit detail accessory.
The STEEL version uses thin steel photo-etch, which is more pliable than brass, holds the shape of a bend better and more faithfully imitates slack fabric belts draped over a seat. The belts are printed in color, so once they are cut out and arranged they read realistically without further painting.
Separate the parts with a scalpel, shape the belts gently over the edge of the seat into a natural slack and fix them with a drop of cyanoacrylate or clear adhesive. Steel photo-etch takes finer shaping than brass, but work carefully even so, so that the printing is not damaged.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
