A color 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale on backing decal paper. The detail is printed on a flexible film with real relief, so the modern instrument panels, side consoles and controls look three-dimensional. The colors and the labels are pre-printed, so painting the cockpit is avoided. The target kit is the Kinetic one, specifically its 2022 tool.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American multirole fighter with a bubble canopy and a side-mounted control stick. The two-seat F-16D version has a lengthened fuselage and a second cockpit. Block 40 is one of the production series with expanded capability for operating at night and in bad weather, which is reflected in the cockpit equipment as well.
Cut the part out of the sheet, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. The parts have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss coat such as Future or Klear, or Tamiya X-22; on complex areas a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. With a two-seat cockpit, work section by section and degrease the surfaces beforehand.
The set contains the interior 3D decals only. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
