A color 3D interior decal on backing paper from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale. The details are printed on a flexible carrier with real relief, so the modern instrument panels with their displays, the side consoles and the controls all look three-dimensional. The colors and the labels are pre-printed, so the cockpit does not have to be painted.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American multirole fighter with its characteristic bubble canopy and side-mounted control stick. The two-seat F-16D version has a lengthened fuselage and a second cockpit and serves for training as well as for combat tasks. Block 50 is one of the more capable production batches with more modern avionics.
The parts are cut out, dipped in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the backing paper onto the interior parts. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on gloss varnish, with which you coat the surface beforehand; in broken-up places a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. With a two-seat cockpit it pays to work section by section and to degrease the surfaces before applying.
The set contains the interior 3D decals only. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
