Eduard 1:48 F-35A RAM coating early

This is a set of self-adhesive masking templates from the Czech maker Eduard, not a kit. The masks are machine cut and serve for the precise spraying of the differently toned areas of the RAM coating (radar absorbing material) in its early form on a model of the F-35A Lightning II fighter in 1:48 scale.

Use

  • Stick the masks onto the individual panels and transitions as shown in the plan and spray over them in the matching shade.
  • They let you reproduce the characteristic subtle differences in surface tone without laborious measuring.
  • Suitable for an airbrush as well as for spray paint; peel the masks off carefully once dry.
  • Intended for F-35A models in the same scale.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to capture the look of the coating faithfully on a fifth-generation aircraft and to save themselves cutting templates by hand.

The set contains masks only. Paints, glue and the model are not included.
