This is not a kit of an airplane but an accessory set for a model of the F-35B in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard of Obrnice near Most. The set belongs to the Big Sin line, which at Eduard is a bundle of several sets sold in one package, and according to the name it is aimed at the armament of the aircraft. The particular make-up and the number of parts can be found on the packaging.
The F-35B Lightning II is the variant of the American stealth aircraft with short takeoff and vertical landing. Behind the cabin it has a lift fan driven from the engine and at the rear a swiveling nozzle, thanks to which it can operate from the decks of amphibious assault ships and from short surfaces. For that ability it pays with a smaller internal fuel load and smaller weapons bays than the sister A and C versions. It carries its armament either concealed inside, when a low radar cross-section is to be held, or in the so-called beast mode on external pylons under the wing. The aircraft is used by the US Marine Corps and by a number of allied users operating carriers with a ski-jump.
With armament it is the choice of scenario that decides: a concealed configuration looks different from a full load on external pylons, and what you fit to the model follows from that. Lay the pylons and the bomb bays out before you close the model up. Paint the small parts before fitting them; on a finished model they are hard to reach.
