1:48 F-4B/N Phantom II is a 3D printed and pre-painted set of cockpit panels on decal paper from Red Fox Studio. An accessory for a kit in 1:48 scale. The set is cut for the Academy kit.

The set brings 3D printed and already painted instrument panels of both stations of the two-seat carrier-based fighter. Everything is on decal paper, so the parts are applied like a decal, with no gluing and no painting of dial faces. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a model in 1:48 scale. The accessory is designed for the Academy kit.
The Phantom has a tandem cockpit in which the front and rear stations are not variants of the same thing but two different workstations. In front sits the pilot with the full flight and engine suite of analog instruments and with optics above the panel; at the rear the systems operator, whose panel is built around the radar scope and control boxes, while he has only a limited set of flight dials. The B and N standards belong to the early naval machines, whose cockpit is still fully analog. The long canopy swings open in two pieces, so with the model open both panels are visible at once and their difference is the main point of the interior.
In 1:48 scale the parts are markedly smaller than in the large scales, and the work is worth doing under a magnifier or with good lighting. Guide the trim with a sharp new blade close to the edge of the print so that no light rim is left. Use little water, because at a small size a soaked part folds over easily. Seat it on a smooth glossy base, fine-tune the position with a soft brush and blot away the excess moisture. Fixing with a thin layer of matte clear coat will protect the panel during further assembly.
The accessory is supplied without the kit, paints and glue. Check the fit with your kit in 1:48 scale beforehand.
