A pre-painted photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:48 scale, for refining a plastic model of the two-seat F-4G Phantom II fighter. The parts are pre-printed in color and self-adhesive, and they concentrate on the cockpit: instrument panels, side consoles and seat belts. They serve as an accessory for raising the fidelity of the detail; this is not a model in its own right.
The F-4G Phantom II was a special version of the proven American twin-engined aircraft, adapted for the suppression of enemy air defenses (Wild Weasel). A crew of two and a wealth of electronics served to find and destroy radars. The Phantom ranks among the icons of the Cold War.
