Quinta Studio 1:48 F-4G early, the smaller variant of the set are pre-colored 3D printed interior decals on decal paper in a narrower scope for the cockpit of the Phantom in the Wild Weasel version. Intended for the Meng kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is the reduced variant of the 3D interior decal set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio, designated Small version. It contains a narrower selection of elements than the full set. The elements are pre-painted and have relief, so the instruments and controls in the cockpit look three-dimensional. The full version of the same set exists as a separate item. The set is designed for the Meng kit.
The F-4G Phantom II Wild Weasel was a two-seat machine derived from the F-4E, intended for finding and suppressing the radar systems of air defenses. The rear cockpit belonged to an operator of the special systems and differed from the standard fighter version. The early designation concerns the early configuration, whose cockpit was equipped differently from the later machines, and which is why the manufacturer lists a separate set for it.
The elements are cut out one at a time, soaked briefly and transferred onto the plastic parts of the cockpit. The surface should be smooth, degreased and sprayed with gloss varnish, so that the decal seats without silvering. The element is pressed into the relief with a soft brush; do not use a decal softener or setter, they will attack the printed resin. The molded details on the plastic are usually sanded away first. Do everything before you close the fuselage, and fix the finished cockpit with flat varnish.
