A photo-etched set for a model of the F-4G Phantom II in 1:48 scale. Thin metal parts fill in the places plastic cannot manage.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-4G Phantom II is an American two-seat machine converted from the F-4E combat version for the suppression of ground air defenses. In place of gun armament it received electronics in the nose that located emitting radars, and the matching armament under the wing. It therefore differs from an ordinary Phantom in its nose, its antennas and the make-up of its stores.
Photo-etched metal parts for a model of the F-4G in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a modeler who already has the kit and wants to sharpen up the shapes that cannot be produced in plastic. Which parts the set replaces and in what order they are fitted are described in the manufacturer's instructions.
Leave the fret in its packaging until you need it and pick the parts up with tweezers; grease from your fingers will later show where you went. Cut the individual parts off with a sharp blade on a hard surface and sand the burr with fine abrasive paper. Make the bends in a photo-etch bender or against a straight edge, always in one go along the whole length, otherwise the edge will ripple. On metal use super glue or two-part epoxy. Degrease unpainted parts before spraying and give them a base coat.
The kit of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
