Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in kabuki tape from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the American F-5E Tiger II light fighter in 1:48 scale. The self-adhesive masks are machine-cut for the frames of the cockpit glazing and for the wheel discs, so that spraying gives you crisp, clean transitions of color. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for painting; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The Northrop F-5E Tiger II is an American single-seat twin-engined light supersonic fighter, widely exported to a number of allied air forces and popular as an aggressor aircraft in training as well. The framed canopy is a prominent area for masking the glazing.
Degrease the glazing and transfer the masks with tweezers. Press them carefully against the edges of the frames, so that paint cannot run underneath. Apply the paint in thin coats and remove the masks while the finish still holds well.
This is an accessory for masking while painting, not a model. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
