1:48 F-5F Tiger II is a set of three-dimensional decals for the interior of the two-seat cockpit in 1:48 scale from Red Fox Studio. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for a plastic model.

This set from Red Fox Studio holds three-dimensional (3D) decals for the cockpit of a plastic model. A color relief print gives the instrument panels and the side consoles a depth and a legibility that hand painting of small dials in 1:48 scale will practically never achieve. On the two-seat version the work on the interior is twice as much, so a finished color set pays off even more than on single-seat machines. The set is cut for a particular kit and is an accessory to it, not a model of the aircraft on its own.
The Northrop F-5F Tiger II is the two-seat variant of the light supersonic fighter with two General Electric J85 jet engines. Against the single-seat F-5E it has a lengthened nose because of the second workstation and slightly altered armament in the forward part of the fuselage. It was used for converting pilots onto the type as well as for full combat tasks, and many users operated it together with the single-seat version. The glazing above both seats leaves the interior clearly visible on a model.
Three-dimensional decals are not released from their backing in water like classic wet decals. They are fitted to the parts of both workstations before the fuselage is closed up and the canopy is set in place. The surface should be smooth, degreased and dry. Try the parts dry and for the application itself go by the instructions of the maker of the set.
The set is an accessory for a kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
