Eduard 1:48 F-86D TFace is a set of masking templates for the glazing of the F-86D interceptor in 1:48 scale. The TFace form covers the clear parts from the outside and the inside.

This item is not a kit but an accessory for a model. It is a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the North American F-86D in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. The templates bound the cockpit frames so that after spraying a sharp transition is left between the frame and the clear area.
With the letters TFace Eduard marks the sets that hold masks for both faces of the glazing. The inner templates make it possible to paint the frames from within in the interior shade and from outside in the camouflage shade, a difference that shows on a finished model at a glance. Without the TFace designation Eduard offers a set for the same aircraft that deals only with the outer face. When choosing between the two, that is the difference.
The F-86D was an interceptor derived from the F-86 Sabre, adapted for all-weather flying. It carried a radar in a radome above the engine air intake and had a differently shaped canopy from the day version of the Sabre. That is why masks for the two versions cannot be interchanged.
The package holds masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
