Eduard 1:48 F4U-1A is a photo-etched detail set for models of the American Corsair carrier-based fighter. It is not a model but an accessory for refining the interior and the details.

The set contains fine photo-etched parts of thin sheet to raise the fidelity of a plastic model of the American F4U-1A Corsair carrier-based fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an aftermarket accessory. It is intended for F4U-1A models in this scale.
The photo-etched parts aim above all at the cockpit and the interior, the instrument faces, the side panels, the levers and the harness belts. They give the pilot area the delicacy and relief that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard backing and use a photo-etch bending tool or two blades to bend them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) in a minimum amount. Degrease them before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
