The set brings the instrument panel, the side frames with their controls, the throttle lever and the seat belts in finished colors and with a raised surface. The elements are cut for the newer kit from the brand Magic Factory; we point that out because the manufacturer also makes an identically named set for the older Tamiya kit and the dimensions of the cockpits differ.
The fighter with the inverted gull wing came about around the huge Pratt and Whitney R-2800 radial engine, for which an exceptionally large propeller had to be used. It was precisely the form of the wing that made it possible to shorten the landing gear and still keep the blades off the ground. The original machines with the long greenhouse canopy were not suited to service on carrier decks, because on the approach the pilot could not see over the long nose. The 1A variant received a raised canopy, a raised seat and a reworked wing, thanks to which the Corsair finally became a usable carrier machine. Until then it flew mainly from land bases in the Pacific, where it earned a reputation as a very fast opponent.
The side frames of the Corsair are broken up, so first divide the elements into smaller groups. Stick the belts on last, so that no other part has to pass over them. Leave the canopy frame open, otherwise all the work would be lost.
