Quinta Studio 1:48 F/A-18A++ interior, a 3D decal set (small version)

A detail set in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Quinta Studio. It is not a model, but 3D-printed and fully colored interior parts on decal backing paper. They create realistic instrument panels and side consoles of the cockpit with detail in relief. The small version concentrates on the main panels and is intended for models of the upgraded F/A-18A++ in 1:48 scale. The target kit is Hasegawa.

The real subject

The F/A-18A++ is the upgraded variant of the early Hornet with improved avionics and newer displays in the cockpit, thanks to which it came closer to the later versions. It served with the US Navy and the Marine Corps.

Use

• the sheet is briefly soaked in lukewarm water and the part is slid off the backing paper onto a gloss clear coat, which holds it in place
• before applying, remove the raised relief of the instruments from the plastic
• do not use decal softeners or decal fixers, as they attack the printed resin

For modelers who want a faithful colored cockpit of the upgraded Hornet without hand painting the instruments.

This is a supplementary detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
