This is not a model but a colored photo-etched detail set. It holds the pilot's seat belts for plastic models of the F/A-18C Hornet carrier-based fighter in 1:48 scale. The belts are of photo-etched steel, which is springier than brass, holds its shape better and imitates the natural drape of the straps of an ejection seat more faithfully.
Steel seat belts printed in color with buckles and fittings for the pilot's seat, ready for immediate use without further painting. The steel base allows the belts to be formed naturally over the seat.
The parts are carefully separated with a sharp knife, formed with tweezers into a real run and glued on with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The painted surfaces are not over-coated.
The accessory calls for a separate plastic model of the F/A-18C in 1:48 scale; the model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
