About product

Omask Fairey Battle 1:48

A set of self-adhesive Omask painting masks in 1:48 scale for a model of the British light bomber Fairey Battle. It is neither a model nor decals but precisely cut masks that make a sharp and clean paint job with an airbrush easier. On this type, with its long canopy glazing, the masks save an especially large amount of work.

The real subject

The Fairey Battle was a British single-engine light bomber of the late 1930s with a long glazed cabin for a crew of three. It was committed to action in the opening phases of the Second World War, where it was already obsolete.

Use

  • Covering the extensive canopy glazing for sharp framing.
  • Clean boundaries of color transitions and of details on the airframe.
  • Apply to a degreased surface, press it on and spray over it with an airbrush.
  • Once the paint has dried, take the masks off carefully.

Who it is for

  • Modelers of the Fairey Battle aircraft in 1:48 scale.
  • Those who want to avoid tape applied by hand on long glazing.
  • Beginners as well as advanced builders working with an airbrush.

A masking set. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
