The Fiat CR.42 is an Italian single-seat biplane fighter with fixed landing gear and an open cockpit. It is among the last biplane fighters ever built in series: at a time when other air forces were already moving to monoplanes, the Italian design relied on agility and simple construction. Some of the machines were modified and used for night interception, and it is this role that the sheet carries in its name.

Go by that when placing the individual items too, because the placement differs between machines of the same type.
Prepare the surface smooth and glossy. On a matte surface air is trapped under the items and a white veil appears that is then hard to remove. Separate the items from the sheet with a sharp blade rather than with scissors. The application procedure and the recommended softener are given in the manufacturer's instructions; with dark night schemes it pays to work in smaller sections and to let each one settle properly. Once dry, cover the model with varnish, which will sink the edges and even the gloss out with the surrounding area.
