This set of photo-etched parts in 1:48 scale from the Eduard brand is not a stand-alone model but an accessory for raising the level of detail on the external parts of the British Fairey Firefly Mk. I carrier-based aircraft. It adds fine metal items for the panels, flaps, covers and other surface details.
The Fairey Firefly was a British two-seat carrier-based aircraft that served with the Fleet Air Arm during the Second World War as a fighter and a reconnaissance machine. The Mk. I version was the original production configuration, with its distinctive elliptical wing planform and prominent radiators.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, make the bends on a bending tool or against a ruler, and glue them with super glue. The fine surface items stand out once primer has been sprayed on and a careful wash applied.
It is a photo-etched detail accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
