1:48 France Flag is a large display board with a motif of the French tricolor for models in 1:48 scale.

The largest format from the Kelik line of colored display bases carries the motif of the French national flag, that is three vertical stripes in blue, white and red. Against the square boards with insignia it offers considerably more area: according to the name 410 x 270 mm at a weight of 410 g and an acrylic thickness of 3 mm. The model therefore does not have to stand alone in the middle, but can be given company.
The large format will carry a twin-engine aircraft, a pair of single-seat machines side by side or a fighter with a trolley, steps and the figure of a mechanic added. The vertical stripes of the flag moreover divide the ground visually, so a composition of several elements holds together better and does not look scattered. Anyone building a series of machines from one country gains a unifying element for the whole collection.
Lay the elements out dry first and try several arrangements before fixing anything. Place the model so that its longitudinal axis does not follow the edge of a stripe, otherwise the composition goes stiff. Store the board flat, clean it with a soft cloth and avoid solvents, which would harm the print. When carrying it to an exhibition, put it between two stiffer boards, as the edges of acrylic are prone to chipping.
