This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks, not a model. The mask is double-sided (express fit): it covers the canopy glazing from the outside and from the inside, so the frames look faithful from both points of view. Masks for the tires of the wheels are included as well.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 was one of the most widespread production versions of the German fighter of the Second World War. It was notable for its heavy armament and its rugged structure. Faithful masking of the canopy frames is the key to a realistic look on the finished model.
Peel the parts off with tweezers and lay them exactly on the frames of the glazing from both sides. Press the masks down firmly against paint creeping underneath and spray in thin coats. You will appreciate the inside masking above all with an open canopy, where the frame is visible from within too. Take the masks off carefully once the paint is dry.
