Big Ed is a bundle, not an individual set and certainly not a kit. In it Eduard puts together several of its separately sold accessories for one model - as a rule photo-etched parts for the interior and the exterior and masking templates - and offers them in a single package. You have to have your own kit of the glider.
The Gotha Go 242 was a German transport glider of the Second World War, designed to carry troops and cargo behind a tug aircraft. Characteristic is its layout with two tail booms and a cargo compartment with an opening rear, which allowed quick loading and unloading. The B version differs from the base variant in the treatment of the landing gear. For a modeler the Go 242B is a rewarding subject precisely because of its large and easily accessible cargo compartment: the interior is clearly visible once finished, so well worked-out accessories pay off.
With this type the center of the work is inside. Assemble, paint and weather the interior before you close the fuselage up, and keep trying whether the halves still close. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue or epoxy and fold them over a metal edge. Pre-painted color parts are not sprayed again. Stick the masking templates onto polished glazing, press them down along the frames and spray the paint in thin coats, so that it does not run under the edge. It is advisable to check the large flat wings and skin against the light before painting and to sand out any unevenness.
The bundle holds add-on sets, not a model of the glider. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
