Full-color cockpit decals for three versions of the Hawker Hunter, that is the FGA.9, FR.10 and GA.11, in 1:48 scale for Airfix kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hunter was among the most elegant jets of the 1950s and lasted in service with the Royal Air Force for several decades. The Rolls-Royce Avon engine gave it the performance with which it took the world speed record, and four 30 mm cannons were grouped into a removable pack under the nose.
The FGA.9 version was the ground-attack one, with a strengthened wing and pylons for bombs and rockets. The FR.10 carried three reconnaissance cameras in the nose and the GA.11 served the Royal Navy for training attacks on ground and surface targets. The differences between them carried over into the equipment of the cockpit as well.
The set deals with all three forms at once, so the builder picks the panel matching the particular machine. The Hunter moreover went through a number of rebuilds in which older airframes were upgraded to a new version, and the equipment of the cockpit shifted further with that. It pays to look up a photograph of the cockpit of exactly the machine you are building in advance, because they are interchangeable at first glance but the difference shows under a close look.
Keep the unused panels, because with this type they come in useful when building a further machine of the same line. The sheet will take storage in the dry without losing its adhesion.
