Masking films for the extensive glazing of the German Heinkel He 111 bomber in 1:48 scale. According to the stated contents they are meant for the outside of the glazing and the shapes match the release by the brand Revell.
Responsibility details are not available.
The machine came about in the middle of the 1930s under the pretext of a fast transport aircraft, but in reality as a bomber. The turning point came with the P version, on which the stepped cockpit disappeared and the nose changed into a continuous glazed shell set asymmetrically to the left. It is that nose which makes a model of the aircraft one of the most demanding masking tasks that can be ordered in 1:48 scale.
During the Battle of Britain it turned out that the defensive armament was not enough for daylight raids, and the type moved to night attacks. Later it carried cargo, towed gliders and, in the form of the H-22 version, released V-1 flying bombs from under the wing. It stayed in production until 1944 and in Spain it was still flown long after the war under the designation CASA 2.111.
The set covers the framing of the glazed nose, of the cockpit and of the gun positions. The stated contents give covering of the outer side; inside, then, tidying up by hand is reckoned with, or the inner frame is left in the interior color. The thin film follows the curvature of the shell without folds.
The model of the bomber is sold separately.
