Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the Heinkel He 219 in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor detail parts, but a painting aid. The TFace designation means that the sheet holds masks for both sides of the glazing, so you paint the canopy framing from the outside and from the inside. On this aircraft the cockpit is large and busy, so masking it by hand with tape would take a great deal of time.
The He 219 was a German twin-engine night fighter of the Second World War. For its day it was an advanced design: it had nosewheel landing gear, a crew of two seated back to back, radar with an antenna array in the nose, and it was among the first production aircraft fitted with ejection seats. Relatively few were built, yet it is a popular subject among modelers precisely because of its unusual look.
For modelers who build twin-engine night fighters in 1:48 scale and want cleanly painted framing on both sides, especially if they plan the model with the canopy open.
The set contains painting masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
